  • Quizzes 5 and 6 will be on Thursday December 8, 2005. Your final quiz grade will be based on your best five quiz scores. Quiz 6 is therefore optional. If you do take Quiz 6, you can use your score on it to replace your lowest score on the first five quizzes.

  • You can download hw07solution.zip. When unzipped, a folder named RegisterOnly will be created. That folder contains the Visual Basic source code for a solution to homework 7. You are free to use this source code as the starting point to your homework 9 if you wish to.

  • Homework 7 has been downloaded from WebCT. I hope to have it graded later this week.

  • I forgot to upload a zipped version fo the program I went over in class last Thursday. If you download and unzip FileList.zip, you will create a folder on your PC named showtextfile. It allows you to select any file on your PC and list the contents of the file in a TextBox. It is designed to show how you can use the OpenFileDialog and introduce you to using a StreamReader.

  • Downloading and unzipping GSCookies.zip will create a folder named GirlScoutCookieSales. This comtains the Visual Basic code for a program we will discuss next week.
