  • Homework 7 is available.

  • Caution Homework 8 will include the source code for a solution to homework 7. Because this source code will be made available to you, the due date of Sunday November 18, 2007 must be met. Before posting Homework 8, homework 7 will be downloaded. Whatever is downloaded at that time is what will be graded. You can expect that your homework 7 will be downloaded on Monday November 19, 2007.

Remember: If your homework 7 was not been turned in when they are initially collected from the Yahoo account, it will receive no credit.

  • Quiz 4 will be on Tuesday November 6, 2007. It will cover material from the first six homeworks.

  • A clarification. Homework 5 is the Roman to Arabic and vice versa program. Your program must be able to both accept an Arabic number bewteen 1 and 4,999 that is converted to the equivalent Roman number and also accept a Roman number between I and MMMMCMXCIX and convert it to the equivalent Arabic number. (i.e., your code must be able to perform both conversions.) You can allow the user to select the type of conversion using RadioButtons, as the sample program does, or by having two Buttons, one for Roman to Arabic and the other for Arabic to Roman, or some other method of your coosing. Just be certain your program can handle both types of conversion.
