  • Homework 5 comments and grades are posted.

Added November 15, 2005
  • Homework 6 talks about using the MicroSoft.VisualBasic.FileSystem functions, methods and properties for reading the data file. It should not. I suggest you open the the data file with a StreamReader as on homeworks 3, 4 and 5. You can then read each player's record using the StreamReader ReadLine() method.

  • Also on Homework 6, you might find the String method Split() an easier way to parse the input string into its meaningful pieces. Or, you could break each record into meaningful pieces as you did on homeworks 4 and 5.

  • Homeworks 7 and 8 are posted.

  • I expect (hope?) to have homework 5 graded tomorrow.

Added November 4, 2005

  • Agilysys has three Co-Op positions available. If you are niterested in the details, you can download agilysys0905.doc

  • I was unable to upload this yesterday as the server would not allow me to log on and FTP the necessary material. Feel free to take until Monday night to complete homework 3 if that will help you.

The program I went through Thursday can be downloaded as example.zip. It expands as a folder named WindosApplication1.
