  • There was a mistake on homework 5, where you were told not to use a StreamReader to read the data from the input file. This was incorrect. You cetainly can (and probably should) ose a StreamReader for this homework.

  • I've uploaded a new version of the data file for homework 3 that illustrates some of the problems you may "encounter" when alphabetzing names. You can download and unzip controlbreakfixedformat.zip. The exe file is the same. But, the file saffor.dat is slightly different.

  • Grades and comments for homework 2 have been posted.

  • For those who wish to do so, you may resubmit homework 2 incorporating whatever comments I may have had for you. The due date for this second attempt at homework 2 is Sunday February 19 by midnight. I will expect it to work correctly in validating the inputs, generating and sorting the values and determining whether the sort worked correctly.

    Please do feel free to drop by my office if I can be of any help to you in getting this done correctly.
