Greetings! My name is Jeffrey Punyasavatsut.
I am currently studying translation at Kent State University.
The translation industry is not widely known among the general public. Before coming to Kent, I thought that the ability to translate depended primarily on the level of proficiency in the foreign language. Now, however, I have discovered that the professional translator is more of an academic detective who must develop the unique ability to quickly research unknown topics in order to create an accurate target text.
