    This set, also known as the GLENGARRIFF POLKA SET, is from County Cork, Ireland.
    Gents dance forward on the left foot and ladies begin forward on the right foot.
    Bar counts for dance patterns are shown in bold.
    The total bar count for each Figure includes an eight-bar introduction of music.
    First Side couple is on the right of the first top couple.
    Swing in waltz hold.

Dance an ordinary polka step (down-2-3).
All couples: take hands in a circle and advance and retire twice8.
Top couples: REPEAT  "MARKER" slide in and out once (1-2, 1-2) in waltz hold4;
dance at home (one clockwise revolution)4;
pass through twice :
          first top couple take right-hand-in-right and pass through second top4;
          at opposite, partners turn into one another to face into the set;
          second top couple take right-hand-in-right and pass through first top4;
          at home, partners again turn into one another and take waltz hold.
All couples: quarterhouse in waltz hold16;
full house in waltz hold8.
Side couples: repeat from  REPEAT  "MARKER"  40.

ladies chain: ladies give right hands at waist-height to one another in the center
          then left hands at waist height to the opposite gent (who has danced into
          his partner's position); ladies dance around the gent and he follows (no
          arch); chain right-to-right in the center then take waltz hold with original
          partner; couples dance once clockwise to-place8.
All couples: slide in and out once (1-2, 1-2) in waltz hold4;
still in waltz hold, house halfway around to opposite4;
repeat the preceding in/out and house halfway8;
