    This set is from County County Monaghan, Ireland has unique music and a
              unique step for each Figure.
    Ladies Chain:  Gents are not involved in the only chain of the set; in Figure One,
              ladies chain inside the set twice;  on the first chain, top ladies dance clockwise
              and the side ladies dance anticlockwise, all beginning right-hand-in-right; on
              the second chain, top ladies dance anticlockwise and the side ladies dance
              clockwise, all beginning left-hand-in-left.
    Swing in waltz hold.
    Gents dance forward on the left foot and ladies begin forward on the right foot.
    Bar counts (quantities of measures) for patterns are shown in bold.
    The total bar count for each Figure includes an eight-bar introduction of music.
    First side couple is on the left of the first top couple.
    Documentation is based upon workshops taught by Pat Murphy (Tralee, Ireland,
              January 2004) and Tom Quinn (video).

  SET FORMATION   FIGURE 1 -- SINGLE REELS (104 BARS)
Dance a polka step with a heel-emphasis:   heel (down)-2-3.
All couples: REPEAT "MARKER" lead around anticlockwise, in sweetheart hold6; 
          reverse directions, maintaining the sweetheart hold2;
lead around clockwise to home8;
full house in waltz hold8;
dance at home in waltz hold (two revolutions)8;
ladies chain inside the set, beginning right-hand-in-right; top ladies
          dance clockwise and side ladies dance anticlockwise8;
swing original partner in waltz hold8;
repeat from  REPEAT "MARKER"   except ladies begin chain left-hand-in-left and top ladies
          dance anticlockwise and side ladies dance clockwise48.
  SET FORMATION   FIGURE 2 -- JIGS (128 BARS)
When advancing and retiring, dance step, step, step, kick, back, back,
          1-2-3-4 and down-2-3 for all other patterns of the Figure.
All couples: take hands in a circle and advance and retire twice, dancing as above8;
full house in waltz hold8;
dance at home in waltz hold (two revolutions)8;
Top couples: REPEAT "MARKER" advance and retire once, right-hand-in-right, dancing as above4;
ladies crossover, right-shoulder-to-right, and turn clockwise to place2;
gents crossover, left-shoulder-to-left, and turn anticlockwise to place2;
swing original partner in waltz hold (at opposite)8;
repeat the preceding four lines, ending at home16.

When advancing and retiring, dance walk, walk, 3-4-5;
           for all other  patterns of the Figure, dance lift-2-3-4
All couples REPEAT "MARKER" take hands in a circle and advance and retire twice, dancing as above8;
Top couples: pass through; first top dance outside and turn in to place as second top dance
          inside and turn out to place4;
pass through; first top dance inside and turn out to join side couples as
          second top dance outside and turn in to place4;
Alternatively, couples dance pass through as above but without turning;
          dance sideways at opposite and backwards to place.
trios:  advance and retire twice, with arms at backs, dancing as above8;
          little Christmas8.
          (Second top stands in-place during the preceding sixteen bars.)
All couples repeat from   REPEAT "MARKER"   with second top, first side, then second side couples passing
          through on the outside first96.

All couples: take hands in a circle and advance and retire twice, dancing as above8;
REPEAT "MARKER" full house in waltz hold8;
dance at home, still in waltz hold (one and one-half revolutions)6;
turn the lady under clockwise with only the left hand/arm and pass her to the
          next gent on the left (the lady dances under an arch to-place beside
          her new partner)2.
take hands in a circle and advance and retire twice, dancing as above8;
repeat from   REPEAT "MARKER"   until original partners dance at home72;
