    This set is from County Cork, Ireland.
    Another version is danced.  The dance is also known as NEWMARKET SET OF
              MAZURKS.
    Swing in waltz hold.
    First side is on the left of first top.
    Bar counts (quantities of measures) for patterns are shown in bold.
    The total bar count for each Figure includes an eight-bar introduction of music.
    Gents dance forward on the left foot and ladies begin forward on the right foot.

  SET FORMATION   FIGURE 1 -- JIGS (256 BARS)  SWING EACH LADY
Dance a flat, sliding (slithering) down polkadown 2-3.
All couples: REPEAT "MARKER" lead around anticlockwise in open waltz hold to the third position8;
square to home :   in waltz hold, slide to the corner (1-2, 1-2), turning
          one-quarter on the last bar so gents face-in2; slide to home, still in
          waltz hold2; dance at home, still in waltz hold (one revolution)4;
First top couple: house inside the set in waltz hold8;
swing in waltz hold, ending at the next couple on the left (clockwise) and change
          partners:   the dancing gent leaves-the-lady at the right side of the next
          left-couple-gent, the new lady moves to the side then dances out to meet
          the dancing gent on the final two bars8;
first top gent repeats the preceding eight bars with each successive left lady;
          the dancing gent keeps the last lady at his home24.
All couples: repeat from   REPEAT "MARKER"   with first side couple, second top couple then second side
          couple leading168;
lead around and square to home as above16;

  SET FORMATION   FIGURE 2 -- JIGS (224 BARS)  SWINGING THREES
Dance a flat, sliding (slithering) down polkadown 2-3.
All couples: REPEAT "MARKER" lead around anticlockwise in open waltz hold to the third position8;
square to home :   in waltz hold, slide to the corner (1-2, 1-2), turning
          one-quarter on the last bar so gents face-in2; slide to home, still in
          waltz hold2; dance at home, still in waltz hold (one revolution)4;
First top couple: house inside the set in waltz hold ending in-front of the couple on the left6;
          raise high hands forming an arch (gent's left and lady's right) and the
          lady on the left dances into the arch forming a circle-of-three2;
little Christmas (swing in three)6; raise to an arch, let the visiting lady out and
          dance on to the next lady on the left2;
repeat the preceding eight bars with each successive left lady; first top couple
          swing to home on the final two bars after releasing the last lady16;
repeat from   REPEAT "MARKER"   with first side couple, second top couple then second side

Dance a flat, sliding (slithering) down polkadown 2-3.

square to home :   in waltz hold, slide to the corner (1-2, 1-2), turning
          one-quarter on the last bar so gents face-in2; slide to home, still in
          waltz hold2; dance at home, still in waltz hold (one revolution)4;
First top couple: dance at home in waltz hold, making two revolutions8;
as the gent batters in-place, take right-hand-in-right over the lady's head and
          turn the lady four times clockwise under the finger8.
All couples: repeat from   REPEAT "MARKER"   with first side couple, second top couple then second side
          couple leading; all preceding couples join the repeat for the dance at
          home; thus, all couples dance at home when second side leads96;

square to home :   in waltz hold, slide to the corner (1-2, 1-2), turning
          one-quarter on the last bar so gents face-in2; slide to home, still in
          waltz hold2; dance at home, still in waltz hold (one revolution)4;
First top couple: house inside in waltz hold8;
high gates with the lady on the left :    holding left-hand-in-left dance to face
          the couple on the left2; form and arch with the left hands;
          gent gives right-hand-to-right to the visiting lady and
          leads her under the arch ending with gent in the center facing the two
          ladies, still holding hands as above2;
          simultaneously turn both ladies partner clockwise and visiting lady
          anticlockwise2;
          raise the inside hands (double arch) and the gent backs under the arch
          anticlockwise simultaneously directing the visiting lady around the outside
          to-place and his partner under to the lead around position2.
All couples: repeat from   REPEAT "MARKER"   with first side couple, second top couple then second side
          couple leading96;

square to home :   in waltz hold, slide to the corner (1-2, 1-2), turning
          one-quarter on the last bar so gents face-in2; slide to home, still in
          waltz hold2; dance at home, still in waltz hold (one revolution)4;
Top couples: dance at home in waltz hold, ending in files at home positions; first top end
          facing outward with second top facing in (facing first top's backs)8;
Side couples: dance at home in waltz hold, ending in files among the top couples (first side
          behind first top, second side behind second top)8;
All couples: lead off with gents dancing to the left and ladies dancing to the right;
          dance to the back of the file4;
          gents dance up the file while ladies continue to dance clockwise
          around the gents (that is, ladies dance on the gents' left as the gents
          dance to/toward the top of the file)4;
original partners take open waltz hold and dance down the files4; after four bars,
         dance left (anticlockwise) and around to home, still in open waltz hold4;
repeat from   REPEAT "MARKER" except side couples dance at home and file up first48;
lead around and square-to-home as above16;

dance in and out three times without touching (in-two-three1, out-two-three1,
          in-two-three1, out-two-three1, in-two-three1, out-two-three1)6;
as gents dance in and out again, ladies dance outside the set to the next position
          on the right2;
repeat from   REPEAT "MARKER"  three times until original partners are at home96;
quarterhouse in waltz hold16;
full house in waltz hold8.
