Accounting Technology

Welcome. 

This website provides general information about the Applied Business Technology program at Kent State University, and in particular the Accounting Technology Courses.  In addition you will find some information about me and my research interests.

Technology plays an important role in an accountant's life; accordingly, technology is an integral part of my course design.  I teach courses in face-to-face, blended, and online formats and use the Kent State University Blackboard website (which can be accessed here with your Kent ID:  https://vista8.kent.edu/webct/entryPage.dowebct ) to support each class.  Courses use a variety of internet-based resources, as well as, traditional textbooks and print materials, including publishers’ homework manager web sites.  Course materials stream from the internet and are available 24/7 throughout a course. 

I am always open to suggestions for improving this or my course websites, course materials, and the ways that we work together.  I truly want you to have an outstanding and successful learning experience! Reading some of the information linked on this site will hopefully provide some insight to potential students as they are making the critical decision of which classes to take and at what University.
