The War Cry
The Average American Fighting Man

21 year old, Lance Cpl. Jason C. Randolph, the son of very proud parents, Amy Hissom and Richard Randolph of East Liverpool, will soon be deployed to Iraq with the 2nd Supply Batilion USMC.  He graduated from East Liverpool High School in 2005.  Jason loved to play football. After years of playing football in the Bill Booth League for the North Stars team, he became an asset to the East Liverpool High School Potters football team, winning the Craig Burbick Award his senior year.  Know to his friends as "Double Duce", he ended his senior year of high school football with 985 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns.

After high school, Jason attended one semester at Kent State University's East Liverpool Campus.  He soon decided that college was not what he wanted.  For a long time prior to college Jason had his mind set on joining cousins Joshua Hissom, Anthony Garcia, and Billy Fitch of the USMC, and cousin Tyler Butler of the US Army along with friends JohnWalker, Matt Walker (also stationed in Iraq), and Justin McElHaney of the USMC, among others in fighting for our country's freedom.

Jason is serving full-active duty in the field of communications as a wireman. After attending boot camp in Parris Island, SC, Jason was stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC.  He was then sent to the Marine Corp. Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, CA where he obtained his training in communications and was then sent back to Camp Lejeune, NC.  Once there, he was so successful at maintaining the base’s computer systems that he was given the job of teaching a class in communications pertaining to computer maintenance so that others could do as good a job as he.  Jason just finished his desert training at the Marine Corp. Camp Wilson located in the Majave Desert so that he can be ready for deployment to Iraq at the end of August 2007 where he will join his cousin Joshua Mark Hissom.

Update

Jason returned from Iraq in March of 2008. While in the states, he married his fifth grade sweetheart, Samantha Dawson. Jason will be leaving Camp Lejeune North Carolina tomorrow August 25th, 2008 for his deployment to Afghanistan. Please keep him in your prayers for he is very much loved and needed!!!!

Jason has three brothers, Richard Randolph Jr., Dustin Randolph, Justin Randolph.
A sister, Jessica Reynolds and two nephews, Carsyn and Mason.

Jason faithfully keeps contact with his cousins, Joshua Hissom and Anthony Garcia, along with friends, Matt and John Walker who are all brothers of the Corps. A cousin, Tyler Butler of the U.S. Army has recently passed away in Iraq.
