All readings are from Garrison's "Oceanography:  An Invitation to Marine Science" 6th Edition.  Although not specifically listed below, students should also read the review sections at the end of each chapter ("Questions from Students", "Key Concepts to Review", "Terms and Concepts to Remember", "Study Questions").
