Principal Skinner
attended a weekend long seminar on learning about technology. Since
the school has recently received internet access the principal decided to become
familiar with the new technology. The internet may be something that
parents do not want to have available at the school. There are some
inappropriate web sites that should not be viewed by children.
However there is also some very valuable information that can be received
over the internet. Children will also be able to communicate to
classrooms and students all around the world. Principal Skinner has
assured the parents that inappropriate web site will not be able to get to
from the schools computers. All teachers will also be attending the
same seminar in two weeks. This seminar will inform teachers of the
different uses and misuses of the internet.
