Big Picture

BIG PICTURE describes the framework into which all of of Latin syntax fits. Every sentence or clause must have a skeleton. It can also include modification and connection. There are two kinds of modification: adjectival and adverbial. There are two kinds of connection: coordinating and subordinating.  The following is a visual representation of the Big Picture of a sentence:
