Present Passive Infinitive

To form the present passive infinitive, take the stem, add the thematic vowel, and add -ri.  Third conjugation verbs, however, are shortened to the stem + a long -i (duci rather than duceri).
Verb Infinitive
amo, amare, amavi, amatum amari
debeo, debere, debui, debitum deberi
rego, regere, rexi, rectum regi
capio, capere, cepi, captum capi
audio, audire, audivi, auditum audiri

Infinitives do not decline.

The present passive infinitive is generally translated like, " to be verbed".
