Climate & Weather Summary:
Coasts: Hot and humid; can be subject hurricanes during hurricane season (see below). nland, at Altitude: Warm, Spring like year-round, although it can become cooler during December thru March Inland, low Altitude: Very warm and dry in the desert areas; hot and humid in the jungles and forested areas. Rainy Season: May to October, does not really affect the Northern part of the country. Hottest Months*: The hottest months are April & May in the South, and July to September on Pacific Coast (Including Baja). The coolest months are December to February, except for Yucatan (Cancun), which is almost always hot. Coolest Months*: Vary by region. December, January, February; Except Yucatan (Cancun) - Hot. Hurricane Season: June, July, August, September, October (sometimes extends into November): Can affect weather on Yucatan Peninsula, (e.g. Cancun), as well as weather on Mexico's Pacific coast, from Baja California southwards.
