Biography

Donald R. Williams is a specialist in the analysis of labor market issues, including cross-national comparisons. His current research focuses on self-employment, child caring policy and behavior, and the returns to language usage, in the United States and in Europe. Dr. Williams is a Senior Research Associate at the CEPS/INSTEAD research institute, Luxembourg, and is a visiting professor in the IMPALLA program at CEPS and the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. He serves on the editorial board for Contemporary Economic Policy, and is a member of the American Economic Association, the Society of Labor Economists, and the European Association of Labour Economists.
