Things on my rhododendron

Lace bug? Does not look like photos I've seen in the internet though..

This is the large bug's (above) trusty sidekick. He did not want to stand still for the microscope camera... I will have him in ADD drugs next time.

Close up of the leaf top, I assume this is powdery mildew? It seems more like a plaque to me...??
