Our graduates are well qualified and have a strong record of achievement in the earth sciences; just look at the career summaries and updates submitted recently by alumni!!  As many of you know, for the last three decades I have been working with each graduating senior to facilitate job placement for those who wanted employment immediately after receiving the B.S. degree.  I also administer our paid summer internship program which places undergraduate majors with local environmental, engineering-testing, and petroleum exploration firms.  In large part our success in the placement area is due to employed alumni informing me of job openings.
