Rationale and Objectives: This class will emphasize the presentation of Earth System Science using inquiry-based approaches. Members of the class will deepen their understanding of Earth System Science through the development of a variety of curricular materials, including plans for classroom presentations and activities, laboratory experiments and field excursions. This course is offered as part of the NSF-Sponsored GK-12 Program in "Inquiry-Based Approaches to Earth System Science" at Kent State University.
