| Martinique Traditional Clothing
Good-bye headscarves, good-bye madras, the traditional doudou costume isn't worn any longer except by very elderly women. This special-occasion outfit was composed of a superb petticoat of eyelet lace, a low-cut bodice, an ample skirt of madras (brought to the island from India), a triangular headscarf, a dazzling, voluminous dress, not to mention an arsenal of jewelry (necklaces of oversized gold chains or beads, for instance).

Sevilla Arte
| Seville Art
The oldest works of art to be seen in Seville date from the Moorish period. The Torre de la Plata (Tower of Silver), reconstructed by the Christians, and the Torre del Oro (Tower of Gold), from the 13th century, are all that remain of the Moorish city walls extending to the river. From the 12th century mosque, the Patio de los Naranjos (Patio of the Orange Trees) and the Giralda (ancient minaret now turned bell tower) are all that remain. Examples of Mudéjar style architecture include the Alcázar (state palace), whose construction began in the 12th century, and in whose gardens we find the pavillion of Charles V. Regarding civil architecture, the Palacio de las Dueñas (palace of a Spanish noble family) is worth mention, dating from the middle part of the 15th century.
