Shel Silverstein
“When the light turns green, you go.
When the light turns red, you stop. But what do you do when the light
turns blue with orange and lavender spots?”
Shel Silverstein (September 25, 1930 – May 10, 1999)
is better known to children as being an American poet, cartoonist, and
an author of children's books. His books have been translated into 20
different language and have sold over 20 million copies.
Over the years Shel Silverstein has complied his poems into a
collection of books.
