The due data for homework #7 is changed to Friday December 5, 2008
at midnight.
This will be the final homework.
Quizzes 5 and 6 will be on Tuesday December 2, 2008.
For grading purposes, only your five best quiz scores will
be used.
That means you do not have to take quiz 6.
But, taking it cannot lower your grade and might improve your grade by
allowing you to drop a previous lower quiz score.

I suggest you download, unzip and take a look at

We will be going over this program for a problem that is similar to homework 7
in class.

You can download palindrome.zip
the source code for the Palindrome program recently discussed in
class.
It unzips to a folder named Palindrome.

Homework 4 is now available.

If you download and unzip the file
DetermineWages.zip,
you will create a directory named DetermineWages.
Open Visual Studion and load the file DetermineWages.sln
you will find in that directory.
You now have access to the source code for the program started in class.
Statements have been added to further implement data validation.
You'll see them in the Function DataValid.
Other code has been added to illustrate some better programming practices.
These will be discussed in class next week.
Hopefully you will come to appreciate how they can
improve your own programs if you adopt them.

With the exception of the first homework, you will be submitting zip files
when you submit your homeworks.
If you need a program to zip up your homeworks, you can download
winrar.downloadcenterz.com WinRar Version 3.71.
You should be able to use this to zip up all homeworks.
