Welcome to the former KSU Color Guard page! This was a happy haven for members to check out the latest KSU guard info, photos, schedule, etc. I have since graduated from Kent State as of May 2002, so this site is no longer up-to-date. However, please feel free to check out the site anyway.

The Kent State University Colorguard is a part of the Kent State University Marching Golden Flashes. The marching band provides the enthusiastic spirit to the football team and the crowd (we even start the cheers!). 

The colorguard is the visual aspect of the marching band performance. Our primary equipment are flags, but we also try to include some dance in our routines. 

"They listen to the band but they're watching the guard!!"
