The process I use involves collecting images and photographs of the environment around me and layering them in interesting and complex ways. I use a combination of oil and acrylic paints in bright, vibrant color layers. The outcome of my paintings is meant to convey an experience or memory of a place as if it were coming at the viewer all at one time. It is also intended to give the observer a sense of synesthesia where the colors almost seem like a sound or a taste. My intention is to evoke a sensory experience in the viewer not just with sight but with multiple senses.

I tend to utilize a lot of graphic and commercial imagery because these are things that are seen in my everyday life. Most of the time, people may not even notice them but sometimes I think they can overwhelm people. My paintings are meant to be a commentary of daily life for a population, including myself, that is bombarded constantly with company logos, commercials, advertisements, and information. I also have worked extensively in drawing and printmaking although the imagery I create with that is varied with different concepts.
