KSU Internet Resources

From time to time I may need to contact you by email during the course. For security and privacy
reasons, we will use university login accounts only to send and receive messages. You may of course
set up your email to forward to another account, and it is always a good idea to set up your email  to
send a copy of any important messages about the class that you send to the instructor back to your
own account so that you have a record.

If you are unfamilar with  KSU internet resources, instruction on how to activate your university
login, how to access your email securely from any web browser, and how to forward mail to another email
account can be found through the Kent State University Helpdesk (330-672-HELP or 330-672-2031).

View your grades using WebCT!

As an added benefit, students in this class can view their grades online from a secure
site using WebCT, but this can only be done using your university login account. For information
on how to use WebCT click here.

To use WebCT to view your grades, go to Grading Policy page, or click here to go to WebCT.

Follow the instructions to login to WebCT, then to view your grades click on the
class link (which can be found toward the upper left corner of the WebCt screen)

IMPORTANT!

Don't forget to logout from WebCT after you have checked your grades!
To be safe, I would also quit the browser program after you are done with the session.
