This site is a searchable archive of the internet. It is "the first public library of and for the Internet community".
Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) - http://www.eric.ed.gov/
This site is the home of the searchable ERIC database. You can find journals, research documents and more. This site has a very strong search tool.
Skype - http://www.skype.com/
Skype is a software application that allows computers to call each other as one person might call another on a telephone. Skype offers text chat or IM, audio calling (single or conference calling) and video calling. This is a great inexpensive, collaborative tool.
Audacity - http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
Audacity is an opensource audio recording and editing application. It is simple to use. Because it is opensource, developers are creating powerful plug-ins to extend the capability and sophistication of the original application.
Jing - http://www.jingproject.com/
Jing is a free screen capture software application offering from Techsmith. This application will capture images and video from your computer screen. The software offers a suite of annotation tools to creating instructional images. The images are exported as PNG files and video as SWF.
Wordpress - http://wordpress.org/
This is a full featured web log, or blog, site. The site offers many options for customizing your blog. It is a great tool for sharing your thoughts and receiving feed back from others.
