I am a board-certified speech-language pathologist and second year doctoral student with Kent State University. I maintain clinical expertise in diagnostics and intervention across both pediatric and adult persons with areas of need in speech-language-communication development, voice, fluency, and swallowing. With regard to research, I am interested in attention, learning, engagement and motivation in young persons with complex communication needs; particularly persons with autism spectrum disorder. The research I am interested in seeks to improve diagnostic assessment and extend evidence-based intervention methods for these persons.
