Exam questions for
Spring 2017
semester:
In a thoughtfully written
paper following guidelines in The Survival Manual, discuss any three
readings from the text in the appropriate
quarter. Apply these principles
in explanation of any two personal experiences or situations
that you have observed in society. No paper will repeat any reading
or situation. Criticize fairly and objectively.
Leave personal feelings and agendas aside. NB: References from the
internet, especially Wikipedia, are not acceptable. Papers
may be submitted by e-mail/attachment early. They will not be graded, but
will be critiqued and sent back to the student. It is up to the student to
take the advice and edit. Exams may also be taken in class, but few opt for this.

*Class
Calendar - Generally, because discussion is emphasizeed,
often it is difficult to predict where we will be from week to week.
Because of this, a semester schedule is not given. The student is
advised to pay careful attention to the synopsis of class work on
this page in terms of that which wll be covered in future classes. |
