All readings are from Garrison's "Oceanography:  An Invitation to Marine Science" 5th & 6th Edition.  Although not specifically listed below, students should also read "What to Watch For" at the beginning of each chapter and the review sections at the end of each chapter ("Questions from Students", "Key Concepts to Review", "Terms and Concepts to Remember", "Study Questions").
