Course Platform and Basic Technical Requirements

The course is using Vista at https://vista.kent.edu/ Please log in with your Kent email account username and password. We will use this platform as our portal for announcements, files, email communication, and discussions.

Everyone should have other web server spaces (e.g., Kent State University server space, Folioweb server space) for group and individual projects.

We will use Kent EReserve System for our readings and the following are direct link and password to access the e-reserve materials:
URL: http://reserves.library.kent.edu/eres/coursepass.aspx?cid=809 (password: computer27). There are no required books for this class. This E-Reserve site will include all the five required articles and other readings for reference.

Course WIKI site http://computerapplications.wikispaces.com/ (you will need to create an account and request to be a participant in this site. More details later). We will use this site for learning various technologies and contributing relevant resources.

We will also take advantage of iLinc http://learnlinc.dl.kent.edu/default.asp program for synchronous communication purposes.
