INTRODUCTION

The Kent State University College of Business Administration is pleased to offer the C.O.B. International Business Experience which was begun in 1997.  The program, scheduled during the intersession (between the Spring and the regular Summer terms), is directed toward Masters students and advanced undergraduate students  in the College of Business Administration, but is also available to other students with permission. Interested students must register for the 3 credit hour class and pay the appropriate fees by the established deadlines (see Payment Schedule).

The program involves a group of students accompanied by Kent State faculty. It will take place in Geneva, Switzerland and in France. In Geneva, the students and faculty will study and reside at the KSU Geneva Hotel in downtown Geneva.  In France, we will stay in hotels with a European flavor.  For additional information city and country information see the KSU IBE Travel Information page.

The program provides KSU students an opportunity to study international organizations and businesses in a European setting. Through the experience of lectures as well as visits to organizations and cultural sites, the student’s cultural awareness is expanded, self-confidence is improved and professional horizons are broadened.
