Often an eight-bar introduction of music is played.
This non-progressive 48-bar two hand dance may be danced anticlockwise around the
perimeter of the dance area (the line of dance) or danced free that is, be danced
in the available space while others dance this or another hornpipe rhythm dance.
Dance side-by-side (gent on the left) holding inside hands.  Sometimes dancers take
open waltz hold (gent's right arm at the lady's waist behind and the lady's left
hand on the gent's upper right arm). Sometimes dancers form lines of two or
              more couples.
Bar counts (quantities of measures) for patterns are shown in bold.
Documentation is based upon a workshop taught by Gerard Butler at Chicago,
Illinois USA on January 14, 2005.  Other versions are danced.
