This non-progressive, 16-bar two hand is danced in sweetheart hold (across the shoulders). |
| |
The dance is often danced in a country-western setting. The dance may be identified as |
| a line dance for only two. | |
| |
Couples take positions around the perimeter of the dance floor with gents having their |
| left side toward the center; the line of dance is anticlockwise. The dance may also | |
| be danced free in the available space while others are dancing another two hand dance. | |
| |
Dance an ordinary polka step (down-2-3) and in-place steps, stamps and kicks as shown. |
| |
Gents dance forward on the left foot and ladies begin forward on the right foot. |
| |
Bar counts (quantities of measures) for patterns are shown in bold. |
| |
Documentation is adapted from a video workshop taught by Allen Myers. Other versions |
| are danced. | |
