    This set from County Kerry, Ireland is the source for the WEST KERRY SET.
    Swing in waltz hold.
    Stamp the leading foot on the last beat before all Houses and Lead Arounds and
              clap on the last beat of all Figures except the Hornpipe version of the last one. 
    Dance a gliding/low-to-floor polka step (down-2-3) with gents beginning on the left
              foot and ladies beginning on the right foot.
    Bar counts (quantities of measures) for patterns are shown in bold.
    The total bar count for each Figure includes an eight-bar introduction of music.
    First side couple is on the left of the first top couple.

    FIGURE 1 -- POLKAS (88 BARS)
BACK THE LADY QUARTERHOUSE
All couples: REPEAT "MARKER" in waltz hold, with gents dancing forward and ladies reversing ( back the lady),
          dance to the next position on the right2; dance one clockwise turn2;
          repeat the preceding patterns three times to end at home12;
TOP COUPLES CHAIN AND HOUSE
Top couples: ladies give right hands at waist-height in the center and dance on to the opposite
          gent (who has danced into his partner's position); partners hook left
          elbows and dance a half-turn around one another; ladies again chain with
          the right hands as they dance to-place beside original partners8;
house each other in waltz hold (back the lady for two bars, house for six bars)8;
All couples: repeat from   REPEAT "MARKER"   with side couples leading at the chain and house32.

LEAD AROUND AND TURN THE LADY UNDER
lead around anticlockwise holding crossed hands (rights on top); during the last
           two bars form an arch with the arms and the lady dances clockwise under
           the arch to-place8.

ladies pinwheel with the right hand three-quarters around ending at the next

gents pinwheel with the right hand full-circle and meet new partners
          at the gents’ home8;
new partners swing in waltz hold8;
repeat from   REPEAT "MARKER"  until original partners swing in waltz hold144;
back the lady quarterhouse as in Figure One16.
    FIGURE 6 alternate -- HORNPIPES (160 BARS)
Either the POLKA or the HORNPIPE version of the Figure is danced.
