Howard Gardner wrote his seminal work Frames of Mind primarily with psychologists in mind but the overwhelming positive response came from educators. Since its introduction in 1983 MI theory has found its way into the minds and hearts of a diverse array of practitioners worldwide. We invite your contribution to and participation in any of the following areas:

Teaching Training and Professional Development
It appears that the presence of MI theory in university teacher training programs is increasing beyond the brief paragraph or two mentioned in the educational psychology text. Do you know of any research related to teacher education and training?
Assessment
We would like to profile research describing noteworthy strategies for assessing individual MI profiles and their appropriate uses. Do you have a contribution to make?
School Reform and Design
MI theory plays a prominent role in discussions regarding to how to redesign schools to improve student involvement and achievement. It is an ongoing challenge to find practical and effective methods of implementing MI school-wide. This is of particular importance as the call for "high standards" grows louder and state governments legislate mandatory "high stakes" testing. What can MI theory bring to this discussion and how can its voice be heard over the din?
Counseling
MI theory has been found to be beneficial for counselors working with individuals to improve self-concept, stress management and career exploration. We're sure that there are many other counseling situations where MI-inspired interventions have had a positive effect.
Career Planning
Educators, counselors and psychologists are finding MI theory to be useful in all stages of the career planning process. What have you done with it? Do you know of research results that support (deny) its usefulness?
Worksite Implications
Given the lightning-paced rate of change in the workplace, we know that ongoing worker training and issues in selection are of paramount importance to employers. What have you done with MI in this area? Do you know of any documented positive results?
