About Me

I am a native Spanish speaker, and I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Spanish Translation at Kent State University, Ohio, USA. Before deciding to go back to school, I worked both as a freelance and as an in-house translator for over fifteen years. I am familiar with academic, political, and financial documents; I also have experience with human rights issues, international organizations, and international policy. At present, I am enjoying new experiences, new learning, and new approaches to translation. Above all, translation provides me personal satisfaction. It is a means to explore the world, and to widen my knowledge of foreign countries and peoples.
