Collaborative Report

Introduction

This assignment is designed to give you valuable experience in researching, writing, revising and formatting a multiple-authored text.

The Task

Suppose KSU is trying to determine the need to increase access to computers on campus.  First, the university needs to find out about current use of computers on campus.  Your task is to gather the information.  What kinds of hardware and software are available?  Where are computers found?  Who can use them?  Who does actually use them?  When are they available?  What are the computers used for?  What web resources are available for KSU students?  In your report, summarize your findings and then make a recommendation regarding the need to increase access to computers on campus.

The Process

1.      Meet with the other members of your group to review the assignment.

2.      Divide the task of gathering the information and set a time for sharing your findings.

3.      With the other members of your group, draft the report.

4.      Share your draft with another group and revise if necessary.

5.      Submit your report to your instructor.
