Our current research focus is on the interactive effects of cognitive impairment and emotional reactivity on communication disturbances in schizophrenia, and other symptoms. The study of emotional reactivity includes examination of social environmental factors that influence clinical state in patients. We also study vulnerability to schizophrenia, and the pathways by which vulnerability transmutes into manifest disorder. |
