The Finial of a spokesperson's staff from Ghan of the Ashanti culture of the 20th century. Used by the okyeame for the twentieth century Ashanti ruler, signifies that this person can communicate their words to all others. Used as a symbolic caution of the ruler's words, "political power is like an egg, don't grasp it too hard!"
