C. 1635 He was already a respected painter who received many commissions from home and abroad. He fulfilled these with the help of a large number of talented apprentices, among whom were painters such as Van Dyck, Jordaens and Jan Bruegel. Generally speaking, his works show two diverse styles. The works which are usually termed baroque are strongly influenced by the Venetian painters Veronese and Tintoretto: luxuriant, colorful, lively and violent compositions, strong and monumental figures. His works, which are among the best in European baroque art, also inspired many European artists in the 18th century and the romantic period.

Live Impressions:

It is pretty self explanatory.  It does convey a very beautiful image, how

ever.
