Beaming Rules

Beam according to the beat

Exceptions:
In 4/4  four eighth notes on beats 1-2 and 3-4 can be beamed do not beam 4 eighth note on beats 2-3

In 3/4 multiple beats of eighth notes can also be beamed together

 The beat should always be visible. Split notes and use ties to make the beats visible.
