Practitioner: Level A and Level B

There are 2 Practitioner Level Workshops 

each worth 1 credit hour

that will provide you with practical experience in creating M.I.-inspired lesson plans, curriculum development, individual counseling, career guidance, psychological assessment and professional development plans.

You will gain additional experience and skill in using The MIDAS Profile to enhance teaching and learning for yourself as well as students of any age.

Teaching in the MI-Inspired Classroom: Level A

Unit III.  MI-Inspired Instruction / Authentic Assessment

Topic 5. Learn a structured procedure for developing MI-inspired lesson plans

Topic 6. Learn how to include various forms of authentic assessment in MI lesson plans

Unit IV: Personalized Instruction / Professional Development

Topic 7. Integrating MI in programs and schools

Topic 8. Learn about one’s own teaching profile and strategies for personalizing instruction

 

Beyond the MI Classroom: Level B

Unit V: Maximize Learning and Achievement!

Topic 9. Explore topics specific to your area of interest for implementing MI.

Topic 10. Understand the differences between extrinsic vs. intrinsic motivation.

 

Unit VI: Implementing MI Beyond the Classroom

Topic 11. Understand the relationship between learning styles and MI

Topic 12. Design a specific MI-inspired learning or implementation plan
