  2. KentLINK online catalog   We support KentLINK for all 8 campuses. Depending on who's counting, we're the 2nd or 3rd largest system out of the 76 systems in OhioLINK. More stats in the white paper.

  3. LMS web site    In the month of Oct. 2002, we logged 3.2 million hits, 450,000 page views, and 50,000 unique visitors to our web site. More stats here [staff only].

  4. Seminars Registration System    Six units on campus besides LMS are using our system. A snapshot last fall showed that the system has handled 7,034 attendees in 1,019 sessions of 214 unique seminars.

  5. Gartner Group research materials paid for by IS.    Even with the clunky navigation, this site provides TONS of IT research if you're willing to dig a bit.

  6. Ameritech phone books   Ameritech supplies these free and we [used to]run them for campus.

  7. Netprint, our local name for managed network printing across campus, is run on three servers, in 52 library and lab locations across Kent and several regional campuses. The print management software is Pharos UnipriNT    We admin the servers, software, queues, clients, licensing, etc. We have local code in place that keeps printing going when the Diebold server is not reachable.

  8. We have run Oracle Corporate Time calendar server for four years. (Seven years if you count its previous versions/owners.) We schedule staff, rooms, and equipment with it, as well as manage personal task lists. Currently 100+ staff are active users; each has up to 4 years experience with the product.

  9. We run LMS email which is iMail by Ipswitch     We support 252 accounts, 78 listservs, and 387 aliases.

  10. We're starting our eighth year of supporting electronic reserves    Go to the department called "AA_Demonstration & Testing" and try the sample course named "Example ERes Course" The password is "demo"    The white paper mentioned above includes stats on this project. Later this Spring, we'll have a secure trusted-host link that folks can use to link from within their WebCT course straight into their ERes course.

  11. In our second year of production with our New Library Materials site. This site keeps faculty informed of new materials BY THE DEPT for which they were purchased.
