Welcome

August 2009 marks the beginning of my seventh year at Kent State University, and my first as an associate professor in the School of Foundations, Leadership and Administration in the College of Education, Health, and Human Services,  where I carry out cultural studies research focused primarily on media coverage of such topics as distance running, amateur wrestling, and Title IX. Check out my CV for updated information on my published research and academic presentations. The courses I teach include History and Philosophy of Sport & PE and Sport & the Media. You can get more detailed information about these classes, and others I have taught, through the link to the left.
