Into the Second Year IV
He can feed himself just fine now. Just fine.
Getting some bugging time from Uncle Mark at the Mexican restaurant that we went to for Grampa John's birthday in early September.
One of my favorites.
When the weather was warm enough at 7:45am, we put Alec in the stroller and went a quarter mile down the road to the bus stop. He wasn't always too keen on having his picture taken, though.
Second attempt at a picture....
Third attempt...
Another try, the next morning.
He's happier when's he eating, as he is here at Friendly's a few days later.
Helping Sissy pick up the extra grass in the new big backyard.
Another look at the crack team of grass wranglers.
Batter Up!
Goofing around a little while before his haircut appointment.
A little while later, getting a pep talk from me and Nancy about what he needs to do....relax, basically. He did okay after this.
The next day, in the pumpkin tent at Dussel Farm.
On the concrete deck in back of the house.
And in front of the house a few days later.
On the basement couch, playing around on one of his Great-Grandmother's handmade quilts.
Sissy usually comes over to give him a hug when he's trapped in his high chair after dinner.
Alec was a pirate for Halloween, but the cool pirate hat stayed on for all of three seconds this evening. Mommy put the hat on him, I took this picture, and then he ripped off the hat during those three seconds. Numerous failed attempts to get the hat back on him followed.
He washes his own hair now...unfortunately, he washes it with mulch. This was a few days before his second birthday.
