The Second Three Months
Getting a kiss from Mommy a few weeks later. Notice the little curl of hair over his ear. It's getting there!
Hanging out with Grampa John when he came to visit for Daddy's birthday.
Sitting up on his own is just around the corner. For now, an actual corner is needed.
Working on lifting his head during tummy time.
Alec's vitals at four months (and a week):
- 17 lbs (10 lbs. added since birth)
- 26¾ inches (7 inches grown since birth)
- stunningly handsome (status unchanged since birth)
The Lil' Buddha gets a kiss from Sister Ava on one of the first warm evenings of spring...one of the first warm evenings that he has ever experienced.
Alec (being held in the center by Miss Elise) and his daycare class at the end of March.
At lunch with Aunt Linda in late March, minutes after meeting her for the first time.
Later that day, spending time with both of Daddy's sisters.
Getting a kiss from Cousin Jessie the same day.
Opening Day 2007 - Alec's first Red Sox game on television! The Sawx are on their way to an 0-and-1 record here, though, and Alec looks rather unimpressed. But the local team did well, as you can see at the bottom of the screen. Maybe that'll be his team of choice, as it is for his sister...and both of his grandfathers.
A look at the first two faces that I see on weekday mornings.
He's holding his head up with ease these days. The little curl of hair over his one ear just get bigger and curlier all the time, too.
Heading out for a long stroller ride when the weather finally got nice again in May.
Another morning photo. I often put my camera in my pocket and then get them up. If everyone's in a good mood and the light is right, then taking a picture like this is a breeze.
Hanging out with Grampa John at Uncle Mark's house for Cousin Megan's birthday party.
Getting lots of attention from Aunt Renee and Cousin Morgan.
Morgan is patient and waits for Alec to release his hold on her hair, which he did about two minutes later. He was in no hurry, as usual.
