Conrad, b. 1818 in Germany, also to Vermilion, OH area, took the Ernst Vermilion property in 1854 when Anna went to Cleveland with daughters, d. 1868. Married Catherine, b. 1828, d. 1913. (Both are buried in Maple Grove Cemetery, with other Wittigs: George, 1854-1857; August, 13 May 1861 to 13 Oct 1895; Martin, d. 21 Feb 1889 aged 70, served Co. E 72nd O.V.I and Co. D 4th Reg. V. R. Corps, served as PFTTALT)
