1. Choose a topic to design an exhibit around (ie. Women in World War II)

2. Research topic for history and artifacts to use

a) photos

b) journals/diaries

c) nurses uniforms

d) military papers

e) newspapers stories

3. Decide scope –what to use?

a) focus

b) timeline

c) how to present—format?

4. Create a design for exhibit

5. Write the text for your docents who are presenting your exhibit

6. Final Portfolio to include:

a) list of artifacts to be used and where they could be borrowed from

b) copy of letter to be sent to ask to borrow materials for exhibit

c) bibliography of references

d) script for docents

e) Exhibit outline and text

f) proposed budget for exhibit

7. Weekly progress report e-mailed by Friday night

All to be handed in by the beginning of final Exam Week.
