    This set is from County Mayo, Ireland.
    Chain:  With a waist-level hold for all contacts, ladies grasp and release right hands in
              the center and take left hands with the opposite gent (who has danced to his
              partner’s position); couples  dance around one another (no arch);  the ladies do
              not chain when going home.
    Swing in ceili hold in Figures One and Two and in waltz hold in Figure Three.
    Gents dance forward on the left foot and ladies begin forward on the right foot.
    Bar counts (quantities of measures) for patterns are shown in bold.
    The total bar count for each Figure includes an eight-bar introduction of music.
    First side couple is on the left of the first top couple.

  SET FORMATION   FIGURE 1 -- JIGS (208 BARS)
Dance an ordinary jig step, down-2-3.
Top couples: REPEAT "MARKER" crossover on the left (clockwise) to opposite, with the lady dancing backward,
          holding crossed-hands in front, rights on top; begin side-by-side then the ladies
          must reverse crisply in front of the gents to avoid an in-center collision;
          at opposite, gents dance anticlockwise backing-into place4;
repeat the crossover above to home4;
ladies chain8;
swing in ceili hold8.
Side couples: repeat from   REPEAT "MARKER"   24.
All couples: dance no-touch in file (each faces the back of the next dancer) clockwise (to the left)
          around the set8;
swing in ceili hold8.
Top couples: REPEAT "MARKER"REPEAT "MARKER" ladies chain8;
first top gent and second top lady:  advance to center2; swing4; reverse to place2;
second top gent and first top lady:  advance to center2; swing4; reverse to place2;
crossover clockwise to opposite, holding crossed-hands in front as above4;

  SET FORMATION   FIGURE 2 -- POLKAS (136 BARS)
Dance an ordinary jig step, down-2-3 and sevens, 1-2-3-4-5-6-7, with
          beginning weight on the leading foot.
Top couples: REPEAT "MARKER" in waltz hold, dance sevens around each other (a box with gents then ladies
          back-to-back when crossing the set)8;
still in waltz hold, again dance sevens around each other8;
ladies chain8;
swing in ceili hold8.
Side couples: repeat from   REPEAT "MARKER"   32.
Top couples: repeat from   REPEAT "MARKER"   32.
Side couples: repeat from   REPEAT "MARKER"    except all couples swing finally32.
  SET FORMATION   FIGURE 3 -- REELS (152 BARS)
Dance an ordinary reel step, lift-2-3-4.
All couples: take hands in a circle and advance and retire twice (five-step is traditional but at
          some sites, ordinary threes are danced)8;
     For the following, gents  dance in-place (no turns)  when the ladies
     pinwheel and ladies dance in-place (no turns)  when the gents pinwheel.
REPEAT "MARKER" ladies pinwheel clockwise in the center with right hands, reverse direction4;  
pinwheel anticlockwise with the left hand and dance to the position originally on the right4;
gents pinwheel clockwise in the center with right hands, reverse direction4;  
pinwheel anticlockwise with the left hand and dance to home to meet a new partner4;
swing new partner in waltz hold8;
repeat from   REPEAT "MARKER"   until original partners lead around (ladies move one position to the
          right with each iteration)96;
lead around clockwise (to the left) in open waltz hold8;
take hands in a circle and advance and retire twice8.
  SET FORMATION   FIGURE 4 -- WALTZES (80 BARS Minimum)   
Dance an ordinary Irish waltz step, down-2-3.
All couples: REPEAT "MARKER" take hands in a circle and advance and retire twice (in: down-2-3, down-2-3
          out:   down-2-3, down-2-3); ladies dance to the next gent on the right
full house in waltz hold with new partners8;
repeat from   REPEAT "MARKER"   until original partners full house48;
take hands in a circle and advance and retire twice8.
 
Alternatively, after dancing the line above, dance as couples anticlockwise around
          the dance floor (in the line of dance) until the music ends or until dancers
          choose to stop.
