    and economic issues in the US and internationally as well.  Very good especially if you consider social
    hope important.

Purdue On-Line Writing Lab
    A very comprehensive and user-friendly online writing lab that has asnwers to most of the questions
    you might have about writing at the college level.

Strunk and White Guide to Concise Writing
    The leading and most valuable resource for writing like the pro's do.  This had been around for
    decades--probably now in its ten thousandth edition.
